Taking the Gospel to the World – Part Three

Don’t miss out on Part 1 and Part 2 of this three-part series.

Part three in our seriesWhat is it about Jesus that makes hearts flutter? Why do we feel passionate about sharing this Good News with others?

Give me Jesus – just Jesus!

When we talk about missionaries, most Christian books are filled with countless names of unsung heroes who have taken the Gospel message to spoken language people groups. What we don’t often hear about are Deaf missionaries reaching Deaf communities who are one of the most unengaged and unreached people groups in the world. Pastor Heo is ready to change those statistics!

Part three in our series

Matthew records some of Jesus’ last words as, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit…” For Deaf pastor Heo Inyong there is no other name under heaven, which leads us to eternity. He is preparing to share that Gospel message to the ends of the Deaf world, sign language style!

Heo says, “Do you think that people and the Divine God can connect automatically and develop a relationship with each other? No, it’s impossible. Our sin separates us from God. Our sin stands as a barrier between us and eternity. But, there is good news! God loves us so much that He sent his Son, Jesus, to come and take the place of our sin on the cross so that we can come to the Father in righteousness. Now, we give thanks and praise to Jesus for what He has done for us so that we may live eternally. If we don’t have the gift of Jesus, we cannot reconnect with the Father. It is so important to put our faith in Christ to have eternal life with God. This is our hope and our prayer!”

But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand.
